Sunshine In My Mood – 2 Bedroom Flat in Battersea

Battersea is one of London’s friendliest and most up-and-coming areas.  Don’t be put off by the road name - Battersea High Street is way more residential than most British high streets. The area’s popular with young professionals because of its closeness to central London, its green spaces and outstanding transport links. There are plenty of bars, pubs and shops nearby to keep you refreshed and entertained, especially in Battersea Square. And the apartment is very close to the River Thames and a short walk away from the delightful Battersea Park.

Head south and you’ll find Northcote Road, a popular destination for nights out with plenty of cool places to eat, drink and maybe get a little merry. The Clapham Grand is close by too, a famous music venue that attracts decent bands and plays host to a selection of comedy and club nights.

Kensal Rise/Green has become a hub for creative types, attracting musicians, actors and authors over the years to its newly gentrified streets and boutique businesses. 
It is undoubtably a fashionable place to live right now. 

One of the biggest attractions is that it is located in Zone 2 offering an easy journey into the centre of London. Kensal Green underground is on the Bakerloo Line which goes straight to Oxford Circus, Piccadilly, Charing Cross and Waterloo. 
You also have the overground station which connects with Euston, Richmond, Clapham, Hackney and all the stops in between.

The kitchen leads onto the main area for relaxing and socialising - the lounge and dining space which the tape measure reveals to be an impressive 292 square feet. And it’s in here that the owners penchant for both vintage and contemporary art is fully revealed, including the addition of a classic turntable. 

It’s also a space you can relax and be yourselves in. Are you mid-season in a series on Netflix or Amazon Prime back home? The flat screen TV that’s wall mounted above the fireplace will give you access to both, so you don’t have to miss out just because you’re away from home. And it’s hooked up to a Sonos sound system too, so you get crisp sound to go with that super sharp and detailed picture. It’s also worth noting that the sofa folds out to form an extra bed for a child. 

On the opposite side of the room, an elegant dining table offers up seating for all guests. Sit down here as a group for a formal meal, or grab a quick snack if you’re in a hurry to get off somewhere. Use the table for work or for games as well.
